Description
I read once, a long time ago, that not everyone dreams in colors. I remember being very surprised. Though I grew up on black and white film in cameras and black and white tv, dreams were always brilliant and vivid. This image highlights a colorful imaginary tree, maybe from one of my dreams, filled with turquoises, blues, reds, crimsons and oranges on a textured beige background. The graceful lines of the trunk and branches symbolically reach to the heavens and support and uplift the kaleidoscope of beauty. It must have been a good dream.
Image created from my imagination, not photo based or referenced, and digitally hand-painted in Corel Painter with a tablet and art pen, utilizing a wide variety of beautiful digital brushes.
I am including 2 versions of "Colorful Tree" ... square, which is the default and appears on most of the products I'm offering, and a horizontal-rectangular version that I'm using on the greeting card option and a few others. If you would like me to add a personal greeting to the front of the greeting card for you, I'd be happy to do so at no additional charge. Just email me here. I'll usually get back to you the same day.
This image was NOT created using AI - Artificial Intelligence programs.
Fine art purchases of this image will not include a watermark, and if I may make a recommendation ... this image will look its very best on the fine art paper choice of "picture rag."

I love the simplicity of this work, although I know that a lot of thought goes into the simplest pieces of art.

Oh. Loving this. Digging the experimentalness. That background texture and your restraint, next to this gestural tree springing forth with texture, contrast and brilliance. This painting is a brilliant restraint. Love this.

I can't believe how much I want to touch this one, Lois . . . it honestly looks like mixed media - the texture is amazing. Love the colors and the simple subject, too. This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for July 1.
