Description
A perky Maltese puppy gazes up at us in the golden glow of a sunny day … his silky white ears perked, his bright black button eyes alert and his soft pink tongue out and at the ready for kisses! Against a warm golden background, this pup is surely filled with love and anticipation and joy.
Puppy must have just heard his all time favorite word … did we say "treat"? We must have … he's ready! Ask him to sit … he'll sit all day if there's a treat at the end of it!!
Image sketched and painted by hand, digitally, and very loosely based on one of my own photos using Corel Painter, a Wacom tablet, the art pen stylus and a wide variety of beautiful digital brushes.

Kathi thanks so much!!!! These guys aren't "open mouth" dogs too often and they can look almost mournful. The tongue out makes them look so happy and fun loving .. which they are!!!
