A classic 1946 Chevrolet, lovingly restored by a family member gleams in the reflected glow of a bright summer's day. Brought out on special occasions, this baby is always the hit of any show she's in.
Original photograph taken July 4, 2008 with the Nikon D40x and the 70-300mm vr Nikon lens. Treated to some clean up in Photoshop CS6, then fully digitally hand-painted in Corel Painter 2015 for a slightly impressionistic-y look.

Wonderful image, voted for in TRANSPORTATION AT ITS BEST CONTEST BY INVITE ONLY Contest.

What a fabulous composition this is, the cropping is just right, not revealing too much detail, yet still showing the most important elements of the car. I like the title, too. I remember that old ad on TV! like/f

Fabulous work, Lois. Love that red color (reflected from I don't know what). As soon as I saw that title I could hear Dinah Shore singing it! L/F
